Is Community really free?
Yes — the full Builder, the runtime, the 40-atom catalog and JSON export are free forever, open source (AGPL), and self-hosted. You never pay to build, save on your server, or run a contract.
Can I use Blueprint without the Builder?
Yes. The runtime is an npm package — you can render a contract in your own app without ever opening the Builder. The Builder is the visual authoring tool; the library stands on its own, and the contract is plain JSON you own.
What am I actually paying for, then?
AI authoring, version history, shared workspaces, roles, publishing, SSO, audit logs and support. Building contracts and saving them to your server stay free.
Do I need my own AI key?
No — AI is included in Pro and up. We host it (no separate key, no separate bill), with fair-use limits to keep it fast for everyone.
Is everything self-hosted?
Yes, at every tier. Blueprint runs in your environment — we host no managed SaaS. Team and Business add an optional Workspace Service you run yourself; Enterprise adds an on-prem license server.
Do you ever see my data or my contracts?
No. Blueprint is self-hosted at every tier — we run no managed SaaS, and the runtime makes zero external calls to render a screen. Your contracts save to your server; your data never leaves your infrastructure.
What happens if I stop paying or cancel?
Nothing bricks. Your contracts, the open-source Builder and the runtime keep working — the license is perpetual-style and never phones home, so a lapsed subscription only stops the paid operational features (AI, collaboration) at the end of the period. You keep everything you built.
Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?
Yes. Billing is monthly — upgrade, downgrade or cancel whenever, with no annual lock-in. Because the contracts are yours and self-hosted, changing tier never touches what you’ve already built.
How does Team’s seat minimum work?
Team is $99 per seat per month with a minimum of 3 seats ($297/month to start). Above 3–4 seats, Business’s flat $399 usually costs less.
What counts as a seat?
A seat is a person authoring in the Builder (and, on Team and Business, in the shared Workspace Service). Running contracts in production isn’t seat-limited — the runtime is free and unlimited at every tier.
Does the AGPL license affect my company?
The runtime is open source under AGPL-3.0. Using it internally or self-hosting your own product is typically fine. If you need to embed it in a closed-source product you distribute, a commercial license lifts the copyleft — talk to us to arrange one.
How is Enterprise priced?
Enterprise is quote-only — no self-serve checkout. It covers SAML, compliance-grade audit, an on-prem license server, a custom catalog, dedicated support and Partnership advisory. Talk to us for a quote.
